Hit or Stand on Blackjack?

Blackjack is the all-time favourite game that has travelled the globe for ages. While some prefer to go by the rules and lose a hand, others prefer breaking the hit or stand rules. The main objective on Blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21.

When to hit? It is preferable to hit when the two cards in hand are valued at anything less than 8. The face-up card of the dealer is without importance since it is impossible to bust. The game will get a little bit trickier with between 12 and 17 in hand. If the two cards are less than 16 while the dealer is showing 7, 8, 9 or 10 then you should hit!

Stand means choosing not to take any cards. This will hold the total and end your turn. The decision to stand will depend on what the dealer has on his face-up card and also your total value in hand. You may split when you have two of the same cards in hand, which will in-turn be split in two hands. Two more cards are then dealt and the bet is doubled. It is a general rule to split pairs of Aces and eights.

Doubling Down is placing another bet on a hand which is equal to the first stake. Choosing this option will bring another card. The double down option will be available on any first two cards.

The rules are very simple on Blackjack as it is first of all about odds. Magical Vegas presents to you a whole series of Blackjack games online which are easy to play and also very entertaining.
