How to Play Blackjack January 3, 2017
The aim while playing Blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand by getting 21 or the nearest number to 21. Blackjack on Magical Vegas is a table game provided by Play’n Go, on which you have 3 chances to beat the dealer’s hand. Blackjack is played with 6 decks and your objective is always to get a hand with a value closer to 21 than the dealer’s. If your hand exceeds 21, you bust and lose your bet, whereas if the dealer bust, you win with a normal win payout of 1:1.
Betting on Blackjack
Chip values on Blackjack are £1, £5, £10, £25 or £100 that you can select from the button found on the left-hand side corner of the screen. To place a bet, you are simply required to click on the desired chip and then click on the game table in the location you wish to place the chip which will be added to your total bet. You can use the Clear All button to remove all bets from the table.
There are various actions that can be done while playing Blackjack. You can use the rebet button to place the same initial bet as in the preceding round. The deal button will start the round after a bet has been placed. You may click the Hit button to be dealt an additional card and this button may be clicked multiple times before you click Stand. If you click on the X chip on any placed chip it will remove your bet. If you are satisfied with the value of your hand and desire no additional cards, you can press Stand. If your first two cards are of the same value, you may split them into 2 separate hands by placing a second wager of equal value on the second hand where you will then process to play one hand at a time.
After receiving your first 2 cards, you can double your bet by pressing the Double button after which you will be dealt with one additional card to complete your hand. The hand is blackjack when the first two dealt cards total 21 and blackjack normally beats a hand comprised of three or more cards that total 21. You are busted and automatically lose your wager if the total value of your hand exceeds 21 and if the dealer gets busted, you automatically win the game round.
You have the option to place an insurance side bet which equals to half of your initial bet when the dealer’s first card is an ace and if the dealer has blackjack, you win 2 to 1 on your insurance bet and the round ends, however, if the dealer does not have blackjack, you lose your insurance bet and the round proceeds as usual. The game result is a push and you are returned your bet when the value of the dealer’s hand is 17-21 and matches the value of your hand. Cards numbered 2 through 10 are worth their face values while jacks, queens and kings are worth 10. An ace may be worth either 1 or 11, whichever is more advantageous during the game and the suit of the card is of no importance in Blackjack.
