How to Play Hi Lo Blackjack January 3, 2017
Blackjack is a well-known game that is widely played in casinos all around the globe. Played with 6 decks of cards, the objective of the game is to get 21 and beat the dealer. Magical Vegas brings to you Hi Lo Blackjack - a game designed by Realistic Games. Hi Lo Blackjack is similar to regular Blackjack play but with an added bonus.
Betting on Hi Lo Blackjack
The layout of Hi Lo Blackjack will give you the feeling of playing at a land-based casino. You will have a close-up view of the table, where you can see the betting spots, chips and the deck of cards. Are you ready to begin playing? Select your chip value out of 1, 5, 25, 100 or 500 and then select the spot where you wish to place a bet. You will then be presented with four different options. You can Deal; be dealt another card, Double Bet; place a similar additional bet, Undo; undo your last bet or Clear All; clear all the bets placed on the table. After a hand, you may either opt for ‘Repeat & Deal’ or ‘Repeat Bet’.
The Hi and Lo bets are quite easy! What you have to do is to place a bet on whether you think the next card drawn will be Hi or Lo. If you staked on Hi; you win if the second drawn card is higher and a stake on Lo will bring you a win if the second card is lower than the first card dealt. Pays that you get for a correct Hi or Lo bet is 1-1.
On Hi Lo Blackjack, you are allowed to change a number of preferences. You are given the possibility to alter the card display, opt to always offer insurance, always offer even money and remove bust cards, in-game warnings and automatic stand. Hi Lo Blackjack also gives you the option to select the dealer’s voice; female or male as well as the loudness and the table colour, how cool is that!
As with all Blackjack games, Hi Lo Blackjack comes with rules, which you will find in the Blackjack tab. The first rule is that the dealer must stand on all 17s, the second is that only one split is offered per hand with no re-splits option. Others rules cover; the hands that have been split do not qualify to increase the Blackjack payout. The hands that result in a Push are 10 and K = J and Q. The pay that you get with a Blackjack hand is 3 – 2. Insurance on Hi Lo Blackjack pays 2- 1 and a face-down card and Ace V Ace and Queen pays even money of 1-1. The double down option found on Hi Lo Blackjack is not available on split aces but you are dealt with one more card. This option is available on any two cards and is allowed after non ace splits.
